Do the Tears Help?

Ever feel like you are crying more than you are praising? Your heart is so heavy with trouble that you can't help but to let the tears flow?

It happens. It happened to Hannah when she wanted a child so badly but was still not pregnant. It happened to David when his son, Absolam, overthrew his kingdom and he had to leave and seek refuge for fear of losing his life. It also happened when Jesus heard the news of His dear friend Lazarus dying. He wept.

So why is it that you feel weak and pathetic when you're so overwhelmed that you can't help but cry? Don't pay attention to your troubles but still go and worship the Lord. Pray to Him and inquire of His solution because even though He sees your tears they won't help solve your problem. Only your commitment to Him will. Hannah went to worship Him and God blessed her with a son, Samuel.

Every time you feel those tears starting to flow, open your mouth and offer the sweet fragrance of praise to Him. He will help you.

Blessings

It's that simple

A wounded spirit's email to a friend:

I don't know what is going on but my faith is being beyond tested. i just want to give up on Christian life (praying, church etc.). It's been like this for a while and its not getting better. i'm having job problems, car problems, family problems, money problems.....its just keeps raining. this isnt right and i dont know what to do.

The friend's reply:

Keep the faith and kick the fear.
-Kingsley Dadzie, 2007

It's just that easy. Remove the doubt from your mind that you are alone. God sees what is happening in your life.
They say when it rains it pours. But remember when the sun shines it burns. There is never a perfect season in your life unless you have faith. Have faith that God is with you and has lead you to the point. Keep only your faith in God with you and get rid of the fear of everything else.

Be Honest to the Lord

How do you expect the Lord to answer your desires if you are not truthful with Him? Maybe you don't want you family to know that you lost your job. Maybe you don't want your best friend to know that you feel like you can't afford to pay your tithes. Maybe you feel like there is no one that you can be totally honest with but you are forgetting about the Almighty.

The one that never fails and never stops loving us. Tell Him the way you feel. Ask Him to show you why you are going through your trial. God is here for us always and the only way that we can get comfort from him is by being honest with Him and telling Him everything.

Trust that He has a plan for you. Go to your threshing floor and open your mouth to Him. He's waiting and listening. Be like David, a man after God's heart, and talk to Him openly.

Blessings,

Psalms 143

4 So my spirit grows faint within me;

my heart within me is dismayed.
5 I remember the days of long ago;

I meditate on all your works

and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you;

my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.

Selah
7 Answer me quickly, O LORD;

my spirit fails.

Do not hide your face from me

or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,

for I have put my trust in you.

Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.
